Doors to Recovery and Transforming Youth Recovery are challenging you to wipe the face of addiction with a pie in the face and a donation to help those who suffer from addiction. Who are you going to challenge?
As the founder of The Stacie Mathewson Foundation, Transforming Youth Recovery and Doors to Recovery, Stacie Mathewson is focused on promoting addiction awareness, recovery, prevention and education at the local, state and national level.
Stacie is both professionally and personally connected to the cause, witnessing since childhood how addiction disease can tear families apart and span generations. With the loss of a son who first faced the disease of addiction in his early adolescence, Stacie’s commitment to preventing addiction and protecting the health of our youth is unrelenting.
With your help, we can create a landscape of hope for families and their loved ones seeking support for recovery by erasing the social stigma associated with substance use disorders.

The vision of Doors To Recovery is that every man, woman, and child struggling with addiction will have access to the best, most effective means to achieve and maintain successful recovery and a productive life for themselves and their families, regardless of their ability to pay.
Stacie Mathewson, founder of Doors To Recovery, watched her son, Josh, struggle with addiction and recovery for several years, before finally losing him to overdose on February 15, 2013. Triggered by the inability of a parent to help her child, Stacie has dedicated her life to creating a world where addiction stigma is a thing of the past, no longer affecting a sober person’s ability to succeed all through their life. She envisions a time when families are able to celebrate healing in recovery together, instead of grieving the destruction of this fatal disease.
